Thanks

I want to say a special THANK YOU to all who came to the BBQ on Sat. It could not have been a better day, and, I now Larry was with us and loved every bit of it. It was good to see some old friends he and I ran with many years ago. And best of all was all of the family that came. Of course we love the new friends and families as well. What could be better!!

Happy anniversary

I was fortunate enough to be invited out with Chet and Cook for their seventh anniversary dinner. Chet took us to "Joe's Crab Shack" and what a dinner it was can't beat good food and good company. Thank you both for including me in your celebration.

Home at last

Hi all, Your wandering Mom, Grandma, Great Grandma is home in Idaho once again and glad to be. Ady and Rylee welcomed me with some special notes and they were GREAT, thank you so much. Today is my recoop day, but, hope to see you all soon.

Desert Museum

Well here I am again with a travel blog. Went to a beautiful place to see all the local flora and fauna. It is best to see in the spring before it gets too hot. The desert is in bloom and it doesn't last long so have to take advantage of it when it is prime. I can't tell you the names of the cacti, but, enjoy the beauty of the blooms.























This little guy looks cute and cuddly, but, make no mistake he is not to be approached. This is a javalina, a member of the tapir family and a distant relative to the pig.

The desert is starting to bloom and I thought you all might enjoy seeing what I see when I am suffering through in my house sitting. The view from the patio is outstanding. These are "Bottle brush"blooms. They have been pruned into trees and are spectactular.

This is a blooming Occatilla with the red bloom and below is a barrell cactus. (I think)

And then we have the Palo Verde in bloom. Sure is pretty, but, boy does the pollen get to me. It is beautiful in it's own way , but, I will take our yard anyday. Will keep you all posted so check out my blog. Love to you all.

Well gang a few mor pics of fun in the sun. Had a car show at the legion on Sat. so took a few pics I thought you mite get a kick out of. Some might bring back memories and some just neat. Enjoy.

House sitting

Just a few pictures of the place I am house sitting. It's a tough job, but, somebody has to do it.

This is the back of the house, just a cozy little place!!!

The cantina, still is in winter mode. Lounges still stacked and the seat cushions stored inside. The whole front of it opens to the pool. Inside there is a full bar and kitchen, fireplace and a cozy area to watch the fire or TV, etc.

Cantina fittingly named. Sure wish the family could be here to have a party. I would just as soon be there to party with you. No matter ho far I roam or how long I stay "There is still no place like HOME".
